The road cars using the same product were not much better.
Red Line`s additive uses a special Sodium based chemistry which forms Sodium Oxides on combustion, giving the same physical protection as Lead Oxides.
I will certainly be giving Red Line Substitute a try.
With head conversions costing around £200 each I estimate that I could run my Robin Hood for about 18 years, at an average of 3000 miles per year, before using up that £200 quid on Red Line.

 
On the other hand , if it does not come up to my expections what have I lost ?, I only have to get a head conversion.

The Liege -Targa - Liege is an International endurance trial for specialist cars which will take place over thirteen days from September 25th. To October 7th. 1999.
The relentless pace will be a real test for both crews and cars.
For the 1999 event hand built cars such as Lotus , TVR and Morgan will be able to compete , allowing the specialist cars to take on the challenge
From the legendary start at Liege to the Targa Florio in Sicily and back again , the 7000 km route will take in the most spectacular mountain roads of the Alps and Apennines.
Crews will be competing on many of the roads used on the Monte Carlo Rally , Alpine Rally , Mille Miglia and the Targo Florio ,
the greatest and most dramatic road race circuit in the history of motor racing , 900 corners in each 72km lap.
